All the equipment
arrived safely and was installed. I was a little concerned in the beginning
as the water was spilling out over the filter. After a short time though
it stopped and has worked fine ever since. I would like to thank you for
all the time you gave to me in helping me make my decision. I appreciate
it very much. I am sure at this time of the year you are very busy. I will
tell you that I will be quick to recommend you to anyone who is looking
for advice on water garden equipment. You deserve a "pat on the back" for
providing the kind of service you gave me, Thanks again

Product Information |
Cloudy, dirty
water and strong algae growth are common problems in ponds. These problems
are caused by floating particles due to an excessive supply of nutrients,
dead plants, over-fertilized soil, acid rain, fish excrement and left-over
food. These particles produce ammonia which is harmful to all living beings.
Pontec BMF Bio-Mechanical Filters transform ammonia into nitrite using
a natural process. The nitrite is then changed into harmless nitrate. Nitrate
actually constitutes a healthy nutrient conducive to plant growth. The
mechanical filtration process is carried out by various structured foam
filters, the biological process through naturally occuring bacteria that
settle on bio-elements.
