The Nursery Pro CleanSweep skimmers are designed to "sweep" the pond surface, trapping leaves, bugs and debris that are floating on the surface or in suspension. CleanSweep skimmers are free-standing one-piece units that are easy to install. Just stand on pond bottom (or place the skimmer on bricks for deeper ponds) and adjust the stainless steel support until skimmer is about 1 inch under the surface. The floating weir automatically adjusts for changes in water depth. Can also be used in line to power an external filter or waterfall. For maximum efficiency, your skimmer should be able to filter the total volume of your pond at least once a day.
* If the Cleansweep Skimmer is used in line to power a waterfall or external pond filter, tubing is required to run from the discharge side of the pump to the waterfall or external pond filter. Connecting tubing between the skimmer and the pump intake (suction side) is included. Tubing to connect to the pump discharge is sold separately. Requires 3/4" dia. kink-free tubing. |

Pond
skimmer (Nursery Pro CleanSweep 1000) is doing a great job. Am now using
the OASE 660 for fountain and future
2nd pond flowing into main pond. The Barley
pellets have almost cleared up the String algae problem also.
Delivery
was ordered Monday and arrived Friday..excellent. Everything is great ...
